Privacy policy
calverge ("the add-on") is a Google Workspace add-on that lets you hold several candidate dates in Google Calendar at once. This policy explains what information the add-on handles and how.
1. Summary
- The add-on never sends or stores your events on an external server. The provider cannot see your events.
- Hold state is stored only inside your own Google Calendar events. There is no database, spreadsheet or other external store.
- The add-on shows no advertising and does not share or sell your information.
- No analytics and no tracking cookies are used, including on this website.
2. Information accessed, and why
With your authorization through Google (OAuth), the add-on requests only the following scopes. The policy is to request only what has been confirmed to be necessary.

The add-on reads and writes only your primary calendar. Other calendars, and events shared with you by other people, are not touched.
3. What the add-on may change or delete
The add-on changes and deletes only the hold events it created itself. Those events carry an identifying property, and events without it are excluded from every operation.
Before any operation that deletes events, the add-on lists exactly what will be removed and waits for your confirmation. Nothing is deleted without your consent.
4. Information stored
Hold state is stored as private properties attached to your own calendar events
(extendedProperties.private). Only these five values are stored:
- A hold group identifier, linking the candidates of the same plan together
- The status (tentative or confirmed)
- The event title without the prefix, so it can be restored on confirmation
- When the group was created
- When it was confirmed (only if it was)
All of this lives inside your calendar, and the provider cannot access it. Uninstalling the add-on leaves the events and these properties in your calendar; you can delete the events yourself if you no longer want them.
5. Error logs
If an unexpected error occurs, its details (the error type and where in the program it happened) are recorded in Google Cloud logging for a limited period. The provider uses these only to investigate defects. Google deletes them automatically after its retention period.
The add-on does not deliberately log event content such as titles or guests. However, it cannot rule out that an error message returned by Google Calendar contains information identifying the event being operated on.
6. Sharing with third parties
The add-on does not share, sell or lend your information to third parties. It is not used for advertising, nor to train machine learning models. Except where disclosure is required by law, nothing is passed outside — and in any case the provider does not hold your events.
7. Google API Services User Data Policy
calverge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Revoking access
You can revoke the access you granted at any time from your Google Account's third-party access settings. Once revoked, the add-on can no longer reach your calendar at all.
9. About this website
This website (calverge.soui.dev) consists of static pages only. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect access logs in order to serve the pages.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised as features change or as required by law. Significant changes will be indicated by updating the effective date on this page.
